Milla Gems

At 28, Milla has already done a lot of living. She spent half her childhood in London and half in Serbia (dodging American bombs). At 17, she abandonned her A Levels (in Maths, Physics and Law) to become a waitress in an Ethiopian cafe.

At 21, she published her first novel ' Dreams and Hallucinations', described by Steve Dunbar as "...an outstanding tour-de-force."

Since 2003 she has performed as lead singer in indie bands Aqua Nebula Oscillator, Metal Monkey and the Music Executives.
